Hurricane debris affecting deer movement?

We have been having a terrible year out here in Chambers County this year on deer. We believe it to be due to all the downed trees hampering deer movement. Anyone else having this problem or had it in the past, post hurricane?

Hasn't hurt us this year, however the deer season after Rita we didn't do much good at all.
