One more deer killer down....
I've had this male coyote coming through for several weeks. I even had previous shots at him and another, but missed 3 times.
I got the problem fixed (scope 4" high) and sat the past few evenings, but no visitors came to the backyard while I was set to greet him (other than a fox and an opossum). Coyotes come regularly but vary their times to visit, based on the pictures I have. They seem very smart. I even have some does come through, but usually around 3 a.m. I checked the camera this morning and had two coyotes out back at 6 a.m.!Tonight, I set up at 7 and I checked my watch at 7:55 and told myself, I'd give it another 30 minutes and then go in, having seen nothing. At 8:00, this guy comes through. At 44 yards, the little Mossberg Plinkster .22 did it's job tonight.
One down and more will come....
