    Bowstring replacement?

I have had my mathews htr no cam for going on two years and was wanting to know what is a reasonable time frame for a new string? and do you replace cables when you replace the string? String is not frayed or damaged I keep her waxed regularly so no visual wear. What say ya fellas?

How much do you shoot per week? Mine used to last me about 18 months but that was when I shot quite a bit.

Well I haven't shot a lot since November maybe 100 shots but when spring is back around I will shoot regularly everyday about 30 shots per day sometimes more till bowseason

No reason to unless it stretched causing the bow to be out of tune or frayed. Have an '09 hoyt with the stock string, had it super tuned 5 years ago and its still tuned and shoots just as good, also have a '04 matthews that has had the string only replaced once and a '98 browning that has had the same zebra twist since 1999, still a tack driver.
