Keep feeder going or shut it down?

Done with deer season. Feeder's cleaned out every day by a small buck and half a dozen does. Would you keep it running with next season in mind, or shut it down?

I keep mine running year round, keeps the pigs coming in for hog hunting in the off season.

Corn is cheap. I keep mine going all year but turn it down to 1 second twice a day

I would say it depends on what you want. If you don't have hogs you want to take out, I'd shut it down till summer. If you want a few targets for the off season, let it run.

Year round running for 3 seconds twice a day. 300# last about 6 weeks.

I run my feeders year round. Those will get in and stay in a routine coming to your feeder daily.

Keep mine running for 3-5 seconds through the offseason.

Keep a little corn going as a candy store for the deer. Get your protein out to really give them a healthy boost.

Mine run year round. 1000# feeders make it much easier in the off season.

I shut mine down and start feeding protein. Along with the food plots this gets the deer through the winter months in good shape, ready for spring.
