I am 56 years old and a Tool fan from the beginning. That also means I was in HS during the late 70's, which means I was Nugent fan.

I found this video, which may be interesting to some folks on here. Not good. Not bad. Definitely different. Listen to whole thing. Tool was not trying to cover the song. BTW, this was a live recording

There is also a live Tool cover of Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter", but it is hardly recognizable as a LZ cover.

After watching the LZ cover, I don't think I would want to get in a tussle with Tool's drummer. He is a horse.

I like tool but was a bigger APC fan. Saw them 3-4 times in concert.

He never once showed his face in all of those concerts.
