I had a fun weekend with a couple of first for me. I forgot to take pics of a couple of kills thou.
I shot a coyote that was following a yearling around. I let him go two times in and out of the brush following the deer on the third time his luck had run out and I let the air out of him.
I was sitting on a corned sendero and a group of 12 smaller hogs showed up eating all the corn and running off the deer. So I let a couple of them line up and let it fly. I got a 2 fer 1 on kap.
I had 10 gobblers come in and gave one of them some easton fever.
The most fun was putting an old deer shoulder mount (bucky) in a tree by a feed pen. I had this deer come in with 5 does and I don't think he saw bucky.
There was another 10 point came in and stood 3 yards behind bucky. He just stood there and stared at bucky. I thought man i gotta get my phone out and ideo this. Too late. The first buck had seen the other 10 point move and had bristled up and started walkin over to the 10 and saw bucky hanging out there. Then without hesitation he knocked ole bucky out of the tree. Picture #3 is bucky in the tree. Picture #4 is poor bucky's LDP. It was great!
