Please go into some wise detail exactly how I tried to make this my business? I didn't get involved with him in any way shape or form. I simply posted a pic and comment on this forum mostly for entertainment and partially for education (which is exaclty what I used it for with my grandson). Even he seemed to get the point.

On the other hand there seem to be some who need to make negative comments about this post I made while at the same time saying or suggesting I/we should mind our own business. That's called hypocrisy.

Wasnt pointing at you or anybody necessarily in this thread. Just made a generalization. Sometimes folks worry too much bout what somebody else is doing. You asked a question for knowledge, hopefully somebody answered it for you.

The obsession with coolers, keeping the meat on ice until it looks like anemic chicken, etc. is a fairly recent phenomenon. I field dress my deer, throw it in the bed of the pickup, and then make the 2 hour drive home no matter what the weather. If it is going to be cool at night, it will hang by the back legs on a gambrel until the next morning when it gets skinned and processed. If it will be warm that night, it gets skinned immediately, quartered, and put in the extra refrigerator in unscented trash bags until I am ready to process it. Tastes like venison--like a deer should. The difference between good venison and bad is usually in the cooking. The processor mixing someone else meat with mine is another thing altogether--that is why I do my own processing. The guy with the deer on the hitch carrier to me is no big deal. I would probably cover the head with something and tuck the legs in if I didn't have any other way to carry it.

So let's see we "need to get a life and mind our own business" but it's okay for you to criticize a comment and post we make with pictures? Hmm not sure I get the logic here.

No one said anything about it being illegal, just stupid.

Let's see circumstances. You're going deer hunting, might kill a deer, but you don't bring any means of carrying to keep them cool. You can't skin and quarter them and put them inside the SUV on some sort of plastic and throw ice on them. Instead you drag it behind your vehicle who's engine and exhaust is pouring about 350 degrees on it for at least 30 minutes (that I saw).

Things don't just happen, people make poor decisions and act upon them. That's how things go bad most often. There's no such things as a cloud following you or bad luck.

I have eyes, I have a brain and I can make judgement calls and I can speak and write those judgements. That is part of my life. Done.

Again. His business. You felt the need to post here knowing full well it would draw attention. Let's say he killed those deer an hour from the processor. Or even 4-5. What's the difference in shooting a deer at 8 am and finding it at 12-1? Everyone has opinions. Ours don't agree. That's fine. Yes they could have used coolers. Or they could shove ice in them and drive to the processor. None of us here know the circumstances.

Personally I like the gas can and chain saw strapped in there for an extra touch... Think that 2 cycle oil tenderizes better than just melting ice in the cavity...
