    B&C scoring question?

Guys I've got a question that hopefully someone can answer. How do you measure the H3 measurement on a palmated whitetail antler according to B&C? I know with SCI if the H3 measurement is palmated then you use the greater measurement of either the H1 or H2 measurements. Does anyone know If B&C does it this way also?

Would have to see it to be sure but it would be taken as all others. 1/4 inch steel tape and the smallest dia you can find

B&C and P&Y measure not like SCI. If both antlers are plamated, then you take the measurements as you would a normal beam. If only one side is palmated, then you have to establish a different baseline on the palmated side and measure so as not to get deductions due to the vast difference from the side to side mass measurements. It gets a little complicated. and would be very long post to reply with all the info.

This is a have to see as Bonaro has said to determine if it is a true palmation.

Yep.^^^^ There are some that will take the big mass measurement and then measure the tine down to were the beam should be. They like to take the best of both worlds which is incorrect.

Of course these are the same people that say score doesnt matter to them yet they talk about score of their deer nonstop.
