    Ray Roberts

    Did some hard time scouting and duck hunting at Lake Ray Roberts the past two days. Hunted a slough in Buck Creek Saturday morning, saw one mallard but he was out of range. Then we hunted a point by Tioga this morning. Saw 7 shooters but never got in range, just wouldn't decoy.

    Got skunked both days, all the guys around us were about the same with the exception of one or two gadwalls. Heard a ton of shooting on the south end of the lake by the Railroad tracks and 377.

    Pretty frustrating but oh well, we'll try again next weekend.

        Most duck hunters won't say anything about their hunting spots cause they'll be full the next time they go out there!

          Buck Creek is pretty big..Plus, I'm just trying to find a lead on some ducks mainly and give a report to others in the area.

              The WWW.com is pretty big too, if ya get my drift. No slough big enough for the WWW.

              But I do like the report you gave on bird numbers. There's no ducks in north Texas. So don't bother going. Ain't worth the time.
