Sophie's first hunt

It was time for Sophie first hunt a few weeks ago. We have never pressured her into going but she finally started to show lots of interest. So this momma pack up her little one and off we went. She was such a trooper. Stayed pretty quiet (she talks about as much as me). We survived parking the truck, walking, potty break outside the blind, and I successfully shot a hog with the pressure of a watching 4 year old commentator.
I am now a member of the "my hunting is over and I will just take my child every time" club. It was awesome.

Nothing like spending time with your child in a blind. I have found the only thing better is spending time with your grandchild in the blind. Great memories! Thanks for sharing.

Way to Go!!! Enjoy every minute. They grow up fast.
This thread brings back great memories for me. My Sophia just turned 17. We haven't been on a lease in 4 or 5 years. She told me this year that she wants to go hunting like we used to before she graduates HS next year. It's time for me to get busy.
