    Satellite guy Seymour, TX

    So I've been trying to get satellite set up out at the lease. I've got a dish box (vip211z) that works at the house, and I got a 1000.2 three head dish off a TBHer (thanks again!). My problem is I can't get it to work at all.

    What I've done so far;

    1. set a new post perfectly level.
    2. got skew, elevation, and azimuth off Dish Align app (pointed to 119, so that it will connect to all 3 satellites).
    3.ran a switch test.
    4. Got zero signal.

    What I'd like to do is have a satellite guy who's local come out and get me set up. Obviously willing to pay for his service. I tried to call dish but they want me to call when I'm at the lease to troubleshoot. Problem is cell service is spotty and I don't want to have to keep calling back when the call is dropped.

    Anyways, anyone know of a tv guy around Seymour, or anyone got an idea what I'm doing wrong?

    What's your skew and elevation? One issue I have a lot (I do installs) is that dish is pretty flexible. Doesn't take much to get out of form.

        Should be good then. Only other thing I can say is make sure the cable is not hooked up to the lnb in port on the dish.

          yup hooked up to port 1. 4 ports on there, 1,2,3 and external LNB. tried two cables and goes directly from lnb to the box
