    Graduating in May

I will be graduating from TAMUK in may with a Range and Wildlife management degree. I plan on being a ranch manager after I graduate. I am asking around with my connections but thought I would ask the green screen too. Does anyone know a ranch in south Texas that is needing a manager? I worked on a 12,000 acre ranch for 2 years so I have some experience. I have a resume I could send. I am 26 years old. Thank you

Might sound a bit unconventional... but you might try running to Freer/Fal/Alice and putting up a flyer at the feed store "College educated Ranch Manager - Looking for work" with some other details on it and see how that works. I grew up in K'ville/Bishop and still have family down there. Good luck, i'm sure you will find something!

Good luck. Tough field to get a job in. Especially one that pays worth a dang.

Its a tough road. Expect to fill feeders for low pay and work 60+ hour weeks before you move up.

Best of luck to you! My best success was emailing my resume to ranches unsolicited. It sets you apart from those who just sit around and wait for an opening.
