Youth hunting questions

So I've always hunted. I had kids and now they're getting old enough w my supervision to hunt. At what age do they need hunters ed, their own licenses etc. As far back as I can remember I took my hunters ed w my dad, I was maybe 11. I'm 36 now and my kids are 5 and 11 and one.

If they are behind the trigger, they need a license. I believe they can take hunters ed at 9.
My oldest is 11. He's been hunting since about 7, but hasn't taken hunters ed yet. He hunts with me so its good. Will probably take it after this season is over
