I have used Realtree forever but last year made the switch to First Lite Fusion. I love their merino wool for base layers and after trouncing around for about 6 miles on Friday morning, I was peeling off layers and decided to see how it held up to breaking up your outline. It's not scientific and I didn't have any other patterns to compare it to, just took a couple of pics to see how well it worked. From what I've seen and read, deer see a blue spectrum and to them things seem black and white. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, here are the pics, in color and then black and white. I still have and use Realtree and Sitka Optifade. Maybe if I get time I'll do something similar with them when I get back to the lease next week.

I thought it did well breaking up the outline and blended excellent against the rock and the leaves, especially the leaves, it practically disappears in there. Hope you enjoyed it, happy hunting and good luck to everyone this year.
