High speed video of a bow being dry fired

Who would like to see high speed video of a bow being dry fired? We’ve all seen, or heard, about a bow being dry fired. They can explode, and all kinds of parts can fly off and break. Cams can bend, strings or cables may break, limbs could split, risers could shatter, etc.
I’ve seen high speed videos of bows being shot, arrows in flight, and mechanical broad heads opening on impact. I’ve even seen a high speed video of an arrow as it shoots a balloon full of water. That was cool! But, I’ve never seen a video of a bow being dry fired (without an arrow). There is a new show on the Discovery Channel called “Time Warp”. The whole series is about filming different things with super high speed cameras and watching them in slow motion. Two days ago, I suggested the dry fire idea on their web site for a future show. The ideas get voted on to decide which ones they will actually film. If you would like to see a bow dry fired, go here http://community.discovery.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/7601973079/m/4151926299 and “rate it” with 5 check marks and add a comment. Then watch for it on a future show.

I'm a HUGE "Time Warp" fan. Good idea, Keith! Will go rate it now.

I haven't heard about that one, I wonder if they'll let the Time Warp people use it? There might not be any pieces flying off, but I bet it would still be cool to see.

I've tried rating it several times today, but site is down.

I found this "risers are built to survive an amazing 1,500 minimum dry-fires" but I can't find where they say they have actually dry fired one of their bows 1500 times. And I sure can't find the video of a dry fire.

I don't remember which company it was but several years ago one of the manufactures had a booth at the SHOT show where they were repeatedly dry firing a bow (mechanically of course)
