I did a good deed today that makes me smile

After picking up my deer at the processer yesterday I realized my freezer is full to the lid. After putting a 1250# steer in there a few months ago that I bought from a local show because their auction was very low so I bid it up some. So I asked my wife if she knew of someplace that took food donations. She found a boys home not far from us on hwy 90. So I called and asked if they could use some help. They were more than happy to take in some food. Today I loaded up around 100# of fresh ground meat and took over there. They were very happy for what I have done and I feel good about doing it. I have been very fortunate this year and just wanted to get in a little Christmas cheer early.
