    String Vibration

Question regarding vibration. When I shoot my bow, the string has a louder vibration than other bows that I've heard shot. I have string leeches on it and limbsavers.

Bow: Diamond Black Ice 60# 28"

    What would cause this?

Do you thing a string suppressor would stop it?

Put a STS type string stopper on it.

Yes I think it will help, I am not too familiar with the brands, but dont buy a cheap ive seen the rubber piece fall off when the string hits it.

This is now my second season hunting with this bow, could it be possible that the string has stretched and needs replacing? Should I take it to a Pro Shop to have it checked out? If so, which shop is recommended around the San Antonio area?

        I love this bow btw.

Get advice from your pro shop, and from this site, but half the fun of the bows is fixing at them yourself.

I would highly recommend a string suppressor, and at present I am way more impressed with the Duravanes String Tamer than the others.

I have a Cabelas gift card, so I think I will make a trip to get a string stop.

Just checked the site and found this one. I think I will try it out.

Probably one of or a combo of two things... out of time and too light of an arrow...

              A string stopper is a good band-aid
