Starr County deer movement?

I will be headed down there for 1st time this season in 2 weeks and wanting to know how deer movement has been? Also will they be rutting in by middle December?

Your timing may be perfect in two weeks...everything is still in slow motion. We need a good frost to get things rolling.
I feel the rut will start at Christmas this year the way things are going.

We never saw any big boys rutting till mid January. Hunted in El Sauz for 6 or 7 years

May use some special golden estrus and see if I can lure one out. Live decoys would be even better.
