Not use a safety harness

This past weekend I flew home from San Francisco. I was in line when this very attractive 60 year old women came up and was trying to figure out the boarding order. I remember my first thought (this is the day after Thanksgiving) that she looked sad.

she got in line just behind me and another woman about her age. As they began to chat (hour long delay) her story got worse and worse by the moment. It started with my husband was killed in a hunting accident.

I asked her what happened and she recounted a story where her husband was stung by some wasps while in a tree stand up north and that he fell from the stand to his death. He was found very late that day because he was alone and it wasn't unusual for his wife not to talk to him before the afternoon hunt.

I have two rules that I've always known and often violated. Build a system when hunting and fishing alone . . . . always wear a harness.

Her story got progressively worse from there. Had a son who committed suicide a gay son in SF that didn't really care to have her around. No grand kids, sold her husbands business, being sued with something having to do with that.
