what is the split when friend provides venison for tamales but I will make them

Wish I had a contact down here, id roll with a 60them/40me split in a heartbeat. Im sure they are out there but I don't speakie the Spanish very well.....

I'd be interested as well, I'm in Round Rock. Not sure how the process works but I have ground venison left from last year and the processor just called last night saying I have more to pick up. I also have a Walmart sack full of hog meat in the freezer I'd be willing to contribute.

There is a family living in a trailer house on FM 1922 just south of 97 that has a sign in front selling different kinds of tamales. I drive by there every day. Can get you the ph number if you are interested. Maybe they can hook you up.
I have not tried them so I cannot vouch for them!

I need to find another tamale lady. The one I used to use moved. I would bring her two quatered pigs and she would make me tamales from one and her the other. Those things were **** good.

I gave away two deer and 2 hogs already. I need to find someone to make tamales! I'd be happy getting just 20% of the tamales.

I did this a few years ago. I did 2-1. Out of 3 dozen I kept 2 and the other went to the venison donator.

Good tamales are time consuming. Some people may not realize that. If I were doing 50/50 split I would get the donatee to also provide the husks, red chili, masa , mantaca etc.

Made 6 dozen Saturday night. will make another 3 dozen tonight.

Turned out great. took 3 dozens to my buddy who donated the meat and they loved them.

They were not as spicy but the next batch will be spicy.
