Looks like pex to me.....and you need the crimpers.....or a buddy with the crimpers.....otherwise your SOL

It is 1". I have not seen white PEX before

It may be....throw a tape on it and measure the OD. And let us know.

You need a hub drain as well.....you sir need some help

Shark bite fittings slip on and can also be removed from pex pipe. Not cheap $5-$7 a piece.
