The usda makes this "rule" very difficult to find. I think a court of law would probably dismiss the citation should one be written, since it is so vague. However, I am not a lawyer and I didn't even stay in Holiday Inn last night.

I really don't care whether you "buy" it or not.

I have emailed the tpwd to see what they have to say. I have a feeling they'll say it's up to the WMA and whatever the NF guidelines are

I have been told by in multiple states (texas included) that blaze orange camo does not fulfill the blaze orange requirement (where it is applicable). So I can imaging that if in most states this holds true why it would be hard to find. Why make it if it doesn't fill the legal requirement of blaze orange, and if it doesn't solve that issue who would want it.

I know in the NF it only specifies the square inches minimum and that's it. Cabeles sells this on and it specifies it has a 600 sq in min not camo. So the way I read it that's 300 inches with the camo. But that's a 3/4 vest. A full best should exceed 400 in blaze/camo.
