The Lone Star Bow Hunters Association is the only association representing your bow hunting rights in this great state of Texas. LSBA has been around since 1974 and strives to unite Bowhunters to help preserve and promote this great sport of ours. In recent years we have seen a decline in membership that will cripple our ability to meet our goals. It never ceases to amaze me how folks don't join organizations which support/further their cause! It is rampant in archery, from local clubs all the up the LSBA!

The link to the site should answer questions. As far as why membership is declining no one can say for sure. I just now that it has declined but it is now on the rise and I am going to try to help.
