Savage axis xp II build.

Bought my son a heavy barrel savage axis xp II in .223 from Walmart. Zeroed it Saturday, its really not a bad gun for the price. I was thinking about buying me one and upgrading it. Stock, scope, and etc. Anybody ever tinkered with these rifles?

saw those. id like to buy a bare gun and put some good glass for it. liked the light colored camo stock.
