obd2 connection not working

So my mom little ford ranger 07 connection is not working and it is causing her to fail her emission test to get her inspection sticker. Any mechanic gurus can shed some light on how I can fix it?

That's what it was with mine.

I know on Chevy the obd2 is tied in with cigarette lighter ......not sure on fords

I am going to check the fuse box and see if that is the problem when the truck gets back

I just had to replace my fuse last week.

Took a look at the fuse and it was burned out replaced it will find out tomorrow if that fixes the problem

Just got word the fuse I replaced fixed the problem and the ranger passed the inspection. Thank you TBH'r for helping me out save me a bunch of time and money
