    Crappie Question

What size is considered worthy of being a wallhanger? I know some will say its not about the size but the experience of catching it.....but this will be me fishing daily till I catch a trophy size. (If I do)

Yeah I'd say anything close to 2 1\2 or bigger.
Sure wish I had been able to stop a friend in time from cutting a beauty up that I caught. I really had a struggle to keep from losing that slab in the water.

3lbs. They make a beautiful mount.

I caught 2 back to back with a fly rod that were "trophies" to me. That was many years ago and I wasn't able to weigh them but they were guessed an 2lbs each. I'm Really bad at guessing weights though. They were also high fence farm pond fish that were hanging out around a t post that was sticking out of the water.

I caught one several years ago that was 17 1/2 inches long and weighed in a 2 3/4 lbs. Thought it was a bass when it broke the water.

Mounted it on a plate with some french fries

Get fiberglass replica so you can still fry em. It will last longer and look better.

I'm saying in that 3 range as well. And I don't like fiberglass.

So you wouldn't mount one unless it was a state record?
