I'm headed to the lease tomorrow for a few days. Lease members said they were chasing hard early last week. I was wanting to know if they are still rutting in Llano. Weather should be okay minus raining on Monday.

Very windy this morning, was slow for me, did see a very large buck, just walking around, making rubs. Herd of does 30 yards away from him and Jr didn't even lift his nose.

We hunt in valley spring in llano county and imo the rut is getting close to the end, hunted last night and didn't see any bucks chasing, rattled last weekend and had barely any action, but did kill a 7.5 year old cull buck last night at the corn
