Time to switch the boy to a bow.

Luke and I went out last night with the intentions of getting a doe for his first bow deer.

Well things change... . We had this 7 come in and after 3 attempts to et drawn at 10 yards, Luke just couldn't get comfortable.

He came back in the 4th time and Luke agreed to go to the gun! It's a nice buck for his 5th deer but probably his last for a while with the gun!

He hooked though! He said "I'm so cold" after coming to full draw on the 3rd chance. I laughed and said that's not why you're shaking...me either. We were both a wreck!!!

We got home last night and he wanted to know how long he had to practice with the bow before we go back.
