T/C Pro-Hunter opinions

I held one of these yesturday and really like the way it feels. It was the SS w/blk synthetic stock. Anyone have opinions on this gun? I also like the fact that you can change out the barrells.

I have the exact model you held in a .300 Win Mag. I absolutely LOVE the gun!! I am in the market for additional barrels for it as well. You would not be disappointed if you bought one!

What scope did you mount on yours? I'm not sure what calibur I would get. Leaning towards the 7mag or 3006.

I have the TC Pro Hunter .300 Win Mag in the blued and absolutely love it!

ScottyS - It's a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x40, comes with a 5 inch sunshade.

I have the standard Encore, model before Pro Hunter, in 7mm-08. I just have a Nikon Prostaff 3X9X40 on it. Love it!

I have a pro-hunter in 7mm-08 stainless. Topped with a Burris 4x14 x 44

Great gun. Might be the only on I hunt Whitetails with ever again.

I have the pro hunter in the camo with the thumbhole stock and love it. You cant go wrong with a TC.

Encore pro in the 209X50 blued and love it. Switching between the 243 for the little one and the 375 H&H is nothing but sweet.

These are single shot right? No action. How long does it take to break open and load a new shell compared to sliding a bolt back?

I have a pro hunter black syn. stock thumb hole. It is chambered in 22-250. I bought the old style encore barrel that was 26" instead of the pro hunter barrel that is 28" just to make a short truck gun. Not my fav gun I own but it is very solid. I bought it in hopes that next time I get the itch for a new cal. I can just buy a new barrel and scope.

I have a Pro Hunter in 280 and 243 and love it. I have shot several differant guns and it has to be one of the best I have held. as far a speed in reloading, I shot 4 pigs with mine before they could all run off. Put one in barrel and 3 between the fingers and it goes fast.

My Father inlaw has one with wood stock and heavy barrel in 25-06 and loves it and the 1/2 groups it produce's he shot a very nice axis doe with it at 175yds at Boaz ranch in Barksdale with it . It is a great gun. I am gonna buy him the 300 winmag barrel for christmas.
