Flower bed clean up. Need help with ID

I am cleaning out my mothers flowerbeds. She has planted many different flowers and plants over the years. I just need help identifying which ones are good and which ones are weeds. Attached are pictures of the flowers.

Yep, those are plants.... sorry I'm no help. I would think that it would be better to wait until late winter to trim the woody shrubs back.

You could probably cut those bananas way back and wrap em in burlap.
The lantana you can cut back as far as you want, same with ferns

None of those are weeds. Don't cut them back until they turn brown.

I cut the lantana (the one with clusters of pink and yellow flowers)back to the ground every year, keeps them from getting to unruly, as in taking over the entire flower bed.

I hate Lantana. Kill it with fire and pizz on the ground it grew on.
