I have the Vortex and think they are the best in their price range. Not Swaros, but also cost 90% less!

I have leupold and son has vortex both 12x50. Mine are a bit sharper. But mine cost twice as much. I'm looking at new pair and if I pull the trigger it will be on vortex

For $129 I'm thinking it's a no brainer but the Leupold is only $20 more.

We've always had great luck with our Leupolds.

Another vote for vortex. I use them for hunting and at work (at night). Great low light performance

Vortex customer service gets my vote. If you ever have a problem they will take care of you

This goes for things even as simple parts like a lens cover, they will ship it out to you ASAP no questions asked. However, the reason I went with them is because they were the easiest on my eyes.

I have both. I prefer my Leupolds. Just a bit sharper and I don't like the focus adjustment on the Vortex. Way to limber. I find myself constantly adjusting them because the eyepieces slide in as you put them to your brawls.

Vortex gets my vote. have had both, basically the same quality, my feed pickup burnt up an both were in it, leupold wouldnt replace theirs an vortex did no questions asked, yes it was a freak accident, but vortex's warranty outdoes leupold's for basically close to the same quality of glass

I don't know what Leupold's warranty is but Vortex's is excellent

I would buy the Vortex based on what I know

Vortex!!! I just went to Cabelas this past Tuesday looking at getting the Leupold BX-2 Acadia 10x42 149.99! Well, got to looking at a few others and the clarity in the Vortex was about 5x better.
I ended up going with the Vortex Crossfire 10x42. I paid 179.99. But to me it was worth it to spend a little extra!!!
