I've poked a few animals with them and they have a good reputation for their killing power. My blood trails have been adequate to say the least.
Due to their large overall size I have found them to prefer a closer to "perfect" tune. They aren't very forgiving if everything isn't just so (A great head to tune with)
Here is one that didn't fare to well it it smacked a ~ 65# sow pig leg bone this year (she was quartering away).

WHAT?! Dale Love shooting something other than G5's?!
Just kidding man, I have had good results with them but all I have shot with them is my Block 4x4. They flew well for me though. I know Breck shoots them, or used to, and he loved them. I believe there is a video on Deerslayer's website of a bloodtrail tracking job down on the San Pedro Ranch that is just crazy. Check it out. And I have a couple of friends of mine that shoot them as well and have'nt been happier with their performance.
Good luck with whatever you end up shooting!

Dale as you know I have always been a Muzzy fan, tried the g-5 because of you,,I am still a muzzy guy,, dont like how the damage to the blades have been lately,,not sure but seems they may have went to a weaker stainless,,or because it hit the fence on pass throughs,,either way,,4 kills this year and hardly a trail to follow,, because they dropped 3o yards from impact

Dale I shot the Phantoms once or at least I tried. I never could get them to fly worth a **** past 20 yards. If you just want a Larger Cut on Contact Broadhead try the Viper Venoms 100 Gr (1 1/4") or 125 gr (1 1/2") Both of these fly great and LEAVE HUGE holes. If you want serious penetration in a 3 blade head Try the Shuttle T-LOCK
