I have not had an opportunity to hunt in 4 years and I am SO excited to be leaving tomorrow morning for a 4 day hunt in northern OK. My good friend and I are headed to his ranch and we are going to hit it hard for the first 4 days of OK gun season. He is trying to put me on one of the monsters he has seen on cam but I would be happy with a nice fat doe so I can have some venison in my refrigerator. I will update as we go along.

We are hunting near the Kansas border in north central Ok. Making good time, a couple slow downs in Dallas but almost through. 4 hours in, 4 1/2 left.

Been up there since last monday, very slow. Little bucks chasing some but not going on like other parts. I was near foraker. It's on the verge of busting wide open but in 9 12hr days I didn't see 1 decent buck chasing or out and about. Lots of does and 2.5yr Olds running around. Goodluck!
