Two weeks ago my cousin shared a video of a big Bobcat near his feeder at his place near Freer, Texas. He said he had seen plenty of hogs and some deer at the feeders showing up on his cameras. So last week he invited me down to see what we could shoot. Well we arrive at the morning hunt get in the blind and about 45 min. later I hear a shot in the direction where my cousin's stand was at. I get a text he shot at a bobcat, I was thinking he got the one from last week. We leave head back to camp and he recovers a smaller bobcat then the one he videoed last week. We put the cat on ice and fill some feeders and get ready for the evening hunt. We leave to the hunt at around 3 pm and sit about 1 hr later I see a small cat slowly cross the sendero further than the feeder heading towards my uncle and cousins stand. Sent a text and within 20 min I hear multiple shots. My uncle had tried to shoot 1 bobcat that was moving through the sendero and stopped quickly near the edge of the brush, but he missed. Almost at the same time my cousin at another blind was on target and missed his shot as well too high, all these were within 20 yards or so. My cousin then sees 1 more bobcat and the big tom down the sendero past his feeder laying down in the grass. I had never known about this many bobcat in an area this small about 100 Acers or less. Has anyone ever seen a pack or so of cats like this, it must have been a family or something, I was just curious. Thanks Ill try to post the pics of the cat here in a bit.

Nice cat by the way! I have never heard of that many cats in that small of an area before but if it is a family and there is plenty to eat on around that area then it would make sense to see that many. The most I have ever seen in one day was 2 different bobcats moving around. 1 Tom and 1 female. But I was hunting some rocky hill country terrain so there could have been more near by I just didn't see them. They are fun to shoot though, and have pretty patterns to boot.
