    6.5 Creedmoor Load data

Does anyone shoot the 6.5 Creed? I am looking for Load data and best powders for the 129 Grain SSTs. Shooting from a Ruger American Predator with 22 inch barrel.

Factory ammo Hornady 129 SST super performance wasn't to bad but I know reloads can get under MOA from this gun.

    Any help would be appreciated

Search function is your friend. Look in the "Other side of the Ranch", there are a dozen threads on it.

H4350 is the powder of choice....If you can find it. Most people are loading around 42gr but you will need to figure out what works in your rifle.

My Creedmoor likes 42gr of H4350 with the 143gr ELD-X. I could push it a little more to get a little more speed but this load is working good.

Thanks. I was planning on using H4350 or Reloader 17. I will start around 41 and work my way up

I have the same rifle and mine likes 143 gr ELD-X with 43.1 gr superformance powder. I tried finding H4350 but couldn't find it in stock anywhere.
          Here's a 3 shot group at 100 off of a bipod

H4350, 41.5-42.3 will be your node.

Look like a good group to me. Did you try any of the 120-129 lighter bullets or go straight to the heavy bullets?

I have Savage 12 LRP Creedmoor that loves the 140 AMAX and look for some 143 ELD X. I might run some of them through this gun to see how it performs.

The only lighter loads I shot were 129 gr factory loads, but I haven't loaded any myself. I'll give the 140 AMAX a try next. The ELD-X are hard to find in stores

                  How did the 129s do?

They shot about 1" groups. Not too bad for factory ammo
