Duck hunting

I know this is a bow hunting forum, but I was curious if any of yall have been duck hunting around Rockport? What are the reports coming from down there? Thanks

I think "horrible" was the word I heard from my friends that guide out of there. Although I haven't talked to them since before the last big norther.

Man down on baffin has been slow to say the least but not sure about rockport

I got a report yesterday that the upper coast has been slow too but the rice fields from East Bernard to Wharton and ElCampo are holding decent #s though nothing even close to impressive.

I haven't been that way, but I have spents the last two days in the truck. Lots of ducks on ponds between Lufkin, Dallas, and central Texas.

Talked to my friends that guide in Winnie and they have been doing great on ducks and geese.

Copano & Aransas

Didnt see too many flying Tuesday and Wednesday. Guides at the ramp cam back with some ducks though they were north of Goose Island. There are more and more ducks showing up in corpus. Jason Slocum
