    Polaris ranger cold start issue

I've got a 2011 800 efi crew When it starts getting colder weather like now (48 degrees) my ranger is very hard to start in the morning.. It will crank for a long time before it starts then sometimes it will idle sometimes not.. If you try to give it ANY gas at that point it will die.. After it runs for about 45 seconds it's fine..

I thought that was a feature of Polaris to keep me in shape! Lol!

More times than I can remember, I have had to hump it back to camp after dark bc out Polaris would not start, or was late getting into the stand bc I had planned to ride to the stand and ended up having to walk!

Yeah back to camp is what I'm worried about! I am on a 18,000 acre lease so it could be a long time ways!

Check for rats or mice. Also lots of TPS problems. Mine did that and I replace the TPS sensor ran great. Did it again 3 months later, mice chewed the wire, spliced it and back to great again. Good luck.
