I might be able to get my hands on a few and wondered if anyone has ever tried it and how they held up? Thanks guys

why not...some have sound barrier capabilities as well...

i wouldn't because they are heavy, hold water and will mold, rust, make you feel like you are at work.

Seems like a good idea if you could seal them. Maybe using some black landscaping tarp and an adhesive.

If you use them, I would put some type of bed liner on them the keep the water out. It would probably have to be a permanent stand too.

Great idea. Use em till they fall apart then burn em. That's why God made burn piles.

I haven't used them for a blind... but they don't hold up to water... I know this from experience.
