Foggy and not seeing any rut action in SAN Saba

Real foggy morning in San Saba, fog just now breaking at 9:20. Have seen about 25-30 doe this morning but no bucks chasing. Figured we'd bee seeing some rut action by now.

First big push here in Mills is mostly over. Most chasing was the last week of October and first few days of November. Some chasing, some just wanting to eat, and few of the older deer on lockdown with doe.

Was out at our place just west of Cherokee,TX this past weekend. Saw a good amount of spunky does and curious bucks. Also rattled up several good young bucks on Saturday. Like greg said, should be on within the next week, especially with temps dropping into the 30s next weekend!!
