There isn't any good Cajun food in Houston.

It is a shame to say with all the great food in and around Houston I realy have not found a really stand out Cajun restaurant or cafe.

I have eaten at a number of places that have great soul food and places with great seafood. But, nothing with above average Cajun food.

I will agree pretty good food, but not authentic at all. Jambalaya is not a sauce poured over white rice. At least that is how they did it back when I went there several years ago.

You will not be disappointed with Boudreaux's. I always eat at the Bunker Hill location but they are consistently good at all the locations. Everything is made from scratch as I have been in the kitchen numerous times.

Clear Lake is good, Sugarland is freaking awful.

There is also a place just inside the beltway on 45 that we ate at one time that was really good, anyone know the name of it?

I have heard mixed reviews and that it was outdoor picnic tables only.
