      Failure to allow inspection? I think I'd tell the old green jeans he had a failure to obtain a warrant. That's the kind of thing that peeves me about the law.

          "A game warden who observes a person engaged in an activity governed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Code or reasonably believes that a person is or has been engaged in such an activity may inspect:

          2. any device that may be used to hunt or catch a wildlife resource;

          3.any wildlife resource in the person's possession; and

          4. the contents of any container or receptacle that is commonly used to store or conceal a wildlife resource.

            I could understand if they saw someone doing something (like the case in the report {KIND OF}) but the gray area begins with the "reasonably believes" that a person has done something.

            What if a game warden watches me load a "heavy cooler" on my own farm? Is that reasonable suspicion for him to barge onto my property? According to that Texas law, apparently it could be.

            In my opinion some of those laws allow the pricks in the system to harrass people.

              Game wardens have so much power it's unreal. Thankfully, for the most part, they seem to wield it honestly.
