    Ldp - wife and 6.5

My wife is on a roll lately. We picked up her new ruger American in 6.5 creedmoor today. I came home and stated doing a break in on the barrel. After 10 rounds of cleaning between each round I shot a 3 shot group at about 70 yrds. ( that's all I can get to my fence).
Made one adjustment and it was dead on.
Wife went to her stand and I bow hunted a ridge a few hundred yards away. Wasn't long and I heard her shoot.
She's up 2 critters on me so far!!

That's a great 3 shot group. What bullet are y'all shooting?

I think most people overlook breaking in a new barrel. Takes about a 30 rounds and a little time but the results are worth it to me!

Congrats to her. I've always wondered if the people buying rifles just before their hunt have any luck.
