    I'm torn

Trying to decide if i should keep hunting where i have seen deer, although does and out of range or go in the woods and sit beside a tree with my rifle. And is it too early to put out doe in estrous? I've been seeing them in the open fields but they come from the woods. Too late to move a stand in the woods? Thought about putting out some sweet feed or starting the feeder up in hopes of getting the pigs to show. Hunting in Van Zandt County in east tx....any advice is appreciated.

Not too late to move a stand IMHO. As for the smoke pole, take it with you and get you some venison! Best of luck to you.

Never too late to move a stand just do it at the right time of day.
I would stay wherever the does are, Bucks are still chasing does, should be a buck not far behind any doe you see.

I turned all my feeders off Monday and currently sitting in a stand I hung yesterday at 3:45pm. Seen 3 doe already... which is why I moved. Go where the deer are.

This ain't west Texas where a feeder goes off and a stampede breaks out, in fact I don't have any pics or sightings of a deer of any age at a feeder in over 2 years. I feel at best you got 2... maybe 3 chances of killing before they figure you out first, then I move on. Again this ain't west Texas where you build a 6x8 box and the deer think it's their momma in 2 days. The small property deer know us better than we will even know them. If they fee pressure, they ain't walking into a shooting lane. The later the season gets the thicker I'd hunt

30-30 ruled in east Texas for a long time. Because you rarely need to shoot past 75 yards

For me it's about time in the field followed by meat in the freezer. Do what works for you.

Moving a stand wouldn't bother me.
Hand corn heavy in the area to get them used to it
Not sure about your rut (doe in estrous scent question)
I would watch the bucks' activities and number of scrapes
Take your rifle if you want a deer
Plenty time to bow hunt hogs later.

I moved a stand about 2 weeks ago and it worked out for me. It's all about the placement so I would do it. As other have said, I would do it in the middle of the day.
