    Sabotage

Not a very happy camper this afternoon.
I got to my blind mid day today to find the roof of my blind cut open. Cant tell if it was done on purpose, or if a buzzard/owl tried to land on it. Camera and feeder don't seem to be tampered with. But its a bummer for sure. I have been chasing two large bucks here and spent alot of time and effort to get this setup and permission and access from the landowner. Guess i will spend the opener of rifle season trying to get it replaced without leaving too much scent or making alot of noise. Hope it doesn't effect the deer movement. Passed a nice 8pt, couple does, and a spike since wednesday
Also found a dead doe 150 yards from my setup. Dont see any bullet holes or obvious wounds. Just a broken leg. Not sure how she died. The buzzards spooked off a few deer today as well.

Patch the stand and hunt it. Don't let them keep you from hunting it.

get yourself some GORILLA TAPE from Wal-Mart and fix it, it'll last you the rest of the season for sure.

Will the tape adhere to this type of material?

Yup, tape that sucker up and press on.

May want to put a hidden camera on it as well. I don't see a bird making such straight cuts. As far as sabotage, hard to say. Could just be some kids being kids in search of a butt woppin....

absolutely, use it on the inside for sure and if you have any left it wouldn't hurt to do the outside also.

I have used gorilla tape to repair tarps on an over the road truck. this stuff is good!

also, if this blind is a few years old it is just getting brittle and wind can and will do this to them. U.V. rays kill these blinds in short order. I have put a camo burlap cover over mine that is held about 3-4" above the roof and extends about 3' out from the sides, it helps keep the sun off of it and keeps it a little cooler inside as it makes shade.

Is your stand locked and ground level? Looks like somebody cut a hole to climb in?

Its elvated on a platform, but they could have just opened the zipper and stepped in, lol.

I might use some visquine and spray adhesive on the inside.

Gorilla tape from inside and black silicone from outside over the tape and seam.

With it being fast drying, i figured any smell wouldnt last long. Excess should evaporate quickly

well maybe, but soap dries fast and I won't go hunting with any of the scented variety on me.

that tape will be all you need imo.
