Was planning to leave tonight and hunt tomorrow before the rest of the guys on my lease get there for the gun opener. Talked to our neighbor and we have received 4 inches so far and it was still raining. I hate the mud

Going out there tomorrow afternoon. Not to worried about mud; plus we just planted the last week or two so we were really needing rain for the plots.

Side note: we're about 10 miles south of the fillin station...you seen Sue lately?

No, I haven't seen any of the ladies that worked in the little cafe since they closed it up a year or so ago. They probably had the most expensive steak (for what you get) but I always try to support the locals as much as I can. I always buy my beer from the little red beer barn right there.

10-4. We are just west of Putnam and north of I-20 a mile so maybe we got more than I thought!

You seeing a lot of movement? I haven't been in 2 weeks probably and they were moving pretty good, but definitely not coming to feeders.

I haven't been out in a couple weeks either. Only movement I was seeing were does.

Not really complaining about the rain, just don't like the mud that comes along with the rain. I like hunting right after a nice rain, usually see more deer and I like looks at all the animal track left from them walking down/across the roads.
