Any suggestions on where can I get eyecups for an old pair of Redfiled 10x50 roof prisms. I think i bought these in 1992 or 1993? They are great binos but I am missing one and the other is dry rotted.
I don't know, but maybe it's time for a new pair of binoculars? Optics have changed immensely the last 25 years, and the quality is outstanding.
You don't know what you aren't seeing, until you see what it is you haven't seen before.

I have a pair of Zeiss that I use, these are for extras, for the kids etc. they still work great with the exception of the eyecups.
From the manufacturer? I bought eyecups for a pair of Steiners from the world wide web. If they are too expensive, just buy a new pair!!!
I tried the manufacturer but no luck since these are so old. I have been googling, ebaying and amazon. I was hoping the brain trust here would say, oh use so and so.com, they have everything you would need. guess not...
Update: Redfield Service finally got back to me. They said to send them in for a refurbishment. I am not sure if that means they will charge me or do the eyecups under warranty?? They did say in the email to make note if I was open to full replacment or not?? Regardless, I was excited to hear from them and will ship them out on Monday.
