    H.I.T. arrow inserts

Has anyone used these in their carbon arrows? What do you think?

I have some beeman Classics with them and they do fine. Kinda wierd with the field point or broadhead tightening against the shaft end though.

They are in my MFX's. The thing I don't like about them is if the arrow hits something hard, it will shatter the end of the arrow next to the tip.

I like the smaller diameter heavier shafts that they go to, but don't like the idea of the point against the carbon. What arrows have the heavier grains/inch with a good insert?

Are these the inserts that have a little rubber thing on the back of them?

I have them on both set of Axis arrows. The old axis and the new axis n-fused. I have shot them for years and they are just fine. (even when I hit something hard) If I hit something hard that does break the arrow it is usually hard enough to have broken the arrow with or without the HIT(cinder block). They also make the BAR (broadhead accuracy ring?) (I think thats what it stands for) It has a small collar that the end of the arrow shaft goes into and protects the end of the shaft. I've had nothing but great performance from them without any trouble.

HIT....hidden insert technology has been in my quiver for about 4 years on my original Axis arrows and now on my Axis ST arrows. I have zippo complaints!
