    shot one yesterday.

    29 @ 70lbs
    bare shaft
    318fps through an Easton chrono
lots of vibe / shock IMO
put an aftermarket sts on it and it did very little for it. pretty sure it was the huge speedballs it had. draw was real harsh compared to Mathews of past. pretty good hump at the end.

    Keep your DXT's people.

Will a mathews shooter EVER give a negative review on a new mathews bow?

I owned on back in the early 90's...there are many bows that are equal to them.....

Looks like it will be a great time to pick up a GREAT slightly used bow very soon!!!
Glad i am not looking for a new bow, thats for sure. But lets see????? Seems like I was shooting an LX a few years ago and thought I might never buy another bow when I took a rack to Ken Witt to measure for P&Y......... and there hung a new Switchback. Thats when Ken handed me a release and an arrow,............. and i made a fatal mistake............. I shot it. Well, about 50 shots later it took Ken and two customers to peel that bow out of my hands!!! I ordered one before I left the store!
THAT............ is why I will NOT be shooting one of the new rigs!!!

Well Technically i'm not a Mathews Shooter, Ive only shot a bow twice in my life, but between what i was shooting(Hoyt Vipertec) and that new reezen I was impressed. It was set @ 70# which i heavy for me, but it was very smooth and didn't really notice any "shock". When i would release it felt good. Mabye i'm to new to tell the difference? I think its nice but being so new to it i think the one i have will get the job done~

I love the SMOOTH cycle of the cobra cam! And that's the only reason I like my switchback. I'ts louder and slower than most of my buddies "non mathews".... but if one of these new bows has a draw so sweet, then the speed increase will force me to buy one. I just cant give up that smooth cycle! Guess I'll have to go shoot one! Does Sullivans have some in?

MOST of the times when people shoot a new bow they are shooting without any vibration damping equipment (stabilizer) or anything. And of course they are looking for the hand shock. So that doesn't surprise me, however hearing about a hump at the end of the draw cycle is a bit alarming, perhaps because of the new cams? I'll try shooting it my self and not rely on someone else's good or bad response.

Remember folks you have to shoot one yourself and see what feels best for your type of shooting.

I am intrigued by the new bows. I love the way a binary cam bow draws and have not really liked any of the mathews bows. I will defnitely have to shoot the monster. When I bought my guardian, I shot several different bows. I loved the speed of the 82nd but I did not like the length. We'll see.

Talk to tick dog or blue tick, whatever his name is about some negative comments on the new mathews bows. He'll hook you up.

A lot of you do not like the short A2A but that's one of my favorite things about my DXT. I love it being so small. The only way I will give a Reezen or a Monster a second thought is if it's better to me than my DXT.

Now, on a completely different note: the names of these new bows are terrible.

Maybe they should have named it the 'Mathews X Force'
