Trying to figure out tractor value

It's a 1966 Farmall 806 diesel with a D361. Earned its keep discing fields. Doesn't run. Needs the block repaired. Back tires are weather cracked. Has three point hitch with original top link and hydraulics. Also has a TA. Some came with a factory TA delete. Dual PTO's 540 & 1000

Tach shows 7,000+ hours. Clutch was replaced years ago.

Had intended to repair and restore it. Just don't have time.

I hate to say this but it's probably worth a little over scrap iron price. Like $500 or so. You might come out better stripping it down and selling the parts.

Man those are some good tractors My FIL bought one new in 1964
and I am still using it for light stuff. We use it to row crop with for many years
and then put a two row cotton stripper on to harvest cotton with.
Wish they till make tractors like that.

Very true. They don't have all the EPA emission crap on them. These new tractors can be comfy and less tiring to operate, but the gremlins can be terrible at times. One tiny problem and the machine won't function. And so often you're at the mercy of a tech to come out with a laptop.

I've also got a JD cotton bedder for sale. Was used behind a JD two cylinder aka poppin johnny.
