Outstanding shot placement. Take her every chance you can, 5-7 years from now she may change her interest but you both will have those memories.

My son just celebrated his 19th birthday a couple of days ago. I started him on shooting through competition - steel plates with .22 LR pistols. I stressed safety to him, and when he wanted to start hunting at age 16 yrs., I told him how critically important gun safety is. I was very proud of him during his Hunter's Safety Education when the instructor complimented him on his safe gun handling skills. Safe gun handling is the first thing I look at when going afield with someone, and my son has seen how serious I was when I have refused to go out with some people - adults, no less, that didn't handle firearms safely. Your little Abigail shows respect for the rifle, for others, and for herself. You are doing your job well - good for all of you.

            Regards,

            Dave

Thanx, just passing it on. Another thing I stress is that life is valuable. The animals we hunt are important and not to be cheapened or wasted. We don't kill just to kill.
